  (1) Air tightness test

2 MPa gas was flushed into the tube to test the underwater air tightness

Generally, air is used as the test medium in the air tightness test. The stainless  welded steel pipe is immersed in water to check the leakage. The stainless steel welded pipe is subjected to the air tightness test under the pressure of 1.4mp.

Operation method: plug both ends of the pipe with a pressure gun and seal them; The air pressure is 1.4mp; Put the tube into water and keep the pressure for 10 s - 15 s; Qualified if there is no bubble on the weld bead.

  (2) Hydrostatic test

Easy to understand point is to kill two birds with one stone to check the leakage method, in order to find out the leakage of the pipeline, you can use the hydraulic test method which usually uses the external pressure of the pipeline to detect the leakage of the heat exchange pipe, send water into the shell, hold for a certain time, visually check the leakage of the pipe at both ends of the tubesheet, and record the leakage of the pipe. If the number of leaking pipes is small, conical metal plugs can be used to plug both ends of the pipe orifice. When the pressure on the pipe side is high, it will be more reliable to weld the pipe after it is blocked. However, it should be noted that the pipe is blocked. In order to eliminate leakage, the number of tubes to be plugged should not exceed 10%.
