Classification of welded steel pipes
Classification of welded pipe: General welded pipe, straight seam welded pipe and spiral welded pipe
General welded pipe
It is made of q195a, q215a and Q235A steel. It can also be made of other mild steel that is easy to weld. Water pressure, bending, flattening and other tests shall be carried out for steel pipes. There are certain requirements for surface quality. Generally, the delivery length is 4-10m, and it is often required to deliver in fixed length (or multiple length). The specification of the welded pipe is expressed in nominal diameter (mm or inch). The nominal diameter is different from the actual. The welded pipe has two types according to the specified wall thickness: ordinary steel pipe and thickened steel pipe. The steel pipe is divided into two types according to the form of pipe end with thread and without thread. Generally, the welded pipe is used to transport low-pressure fluid.
Straight welded pipe
Simple production, high production efficiency, low cost and rapid development.
Specifications: Φ 21.3-457.2*1.8-14
Spiral welded pipe
Generally, the strength is higher than that of straight seam welded pipe. It can produce welded pipe with larger diameter with narrower blank. Spiral seam welded steel pipe is divided into automatic submerged arc welded steel pipe and high-frequency welded steel pipe.
A. The spiral seam automatic submerged arc welded steel pipe is divided into class a pipe and class B pipe according to the pressure of the transmission medium. Class a pipes are generally welded with ordinary carbon steel Q235, q235f and ordinary low-alloy structural steel 16Mn, while class B pipes are welded with Q235, q235f, Q195 and other steels, which are used as low-pressure fluid transmission pipes
B. Spiral seam high-frequency welded steel pipe spiral seam high-frequency welded steel pipe has no unified product standard, and is generally made of ordinary carbon steel Q235, q235f and other steels.
