The specification and appearance quality of drill pipe

　　(1) According to YB528-92" oil drilling pipe" provisions, within the ends of threaded and unthreaded the thickened oil drilling pipe and its outer diameter is 60mm,73mm,89mm,102mm-140mm.

　　(2) The outside and inside surface of petroleum drill pipe and connector shall not have cracks, folding, rolling reduction, separation, hairline and scarring. These defects should be removed completely,  the wall thickness exceeding the diameter of the negative deviation after removing.

　　(3) The surface of petroleum drill pipe thickened portion and the transition to the nominal wall thickness of the place, may have severe bump.

　　(4) petroleum drill pipe without joints length reach to 8m and 12m ,  does not supply connector during delivery,6m long drill pipe each should be have the last joint.

　　(5)The surface for oil drill pipe and the thread joint  should be smooth, no burr, tearing and enough to make thread interrupt effect of strength and tightly connected with other defects.

　　(6) According to YB/T5052-93" the provision of steel tubes for drilling" , drill pipe diameter, wall thickness, and the thickened portion of the outer diameter, length, diameter, thickening transition length length of thread are clear requirements, the drill pipe and collar thread has strict rules.
