Oil Pipe Features
The diameters of the oil pipe ranges from 4mm to 219mm and the wall thickness ranges from 0.5mm to 20mm. The welded and ERW pipes have higher diameters up to 1219.2mm. The oil pipe has lower diameters ranging from 3.35mm to 101.6mm. There are different schedules to the tubes ranging from sch5 through XXS. The material comes in single random, double random and cut to length sizes. There are also different finishes to the material such as polished, annealed and pickled and bright annealed. The form of the oil pipe range from round hydraulic and straight to boiler, rectangular and square forms. The different forms are used in different application circumstances. The oil pipe can have plain ends and threaded ends as well. The applications include petroleum, petrochemical, oil and gas industries where the fluids and gases are transmitted from one location to another via pipelines.
